The Practice of Surrender
I recently finished listening to the audio book “The Surrender Experiment” by Michael Singer. It is basically the story of the unfolding of his life once he decided to completely “surrender” to whatever life presented. When opportunities came knocking, he responded by opening his heart and listening to his higher, wiser Self. It is a crazy tale of twists, turns and ultimately Michael’s unwavering trust to surrender to life. It is an inspiring story and so I decided to start allowing life to unfold instead of forcing it to conform to what my ego mind is determined to do. In only a few weeks time of practicing letting go of my ego drives, there have been an abundance of synchronicities unfolding in my life. While, I am still quite the novice at this practice and feel the drive of my ego wanting to push life a certain direction, it is a bit of a relief to know I am not in charge, life is. This is not to say I do not take action to move forward but my action is guided by tuning into life as it presents itself.
As you may know, I have a Past Life Regression Workshop coming up this weekend May 12 @12 pm at the Local Co-op in Sugarhouse! I have been worried about people signing up, what if no one signs up? My ego started stressing out about this scenario on more than one occasion leading me to brainstorm marketing plans and advertising. As life would have it, my lovely husband had planned a vacation exactly two weeks before my workshop. At first, I was really stressed because leaving two weeks prior to the event was when I had originally planned on promoting my workshop. Then I decided to let go and let life guide what happens. I relaxed into being okay with no one signing up, if that is how life is supposed to unfold for me. We went on our vacation and by the end I had several lovely people signed up for my workshop!
I am excited about this opportunity to share my perspectives on past life work and provide a safe, supported past life experience for all who come to my workshop. Whoever comes to my workshop is meant to be there, guided by a force larger than myself. So if you are feeling the pull, the desire to come to my workshop, please do!
Here are the details, share with whomever you think may be interested.
