Grateful for you!
The year is winding down with the holidays kicking off tomorrow. This time of year, for me, is a chance to reflect. Reflecting on all that has happened, all I have done, and all of the the amazing people in my life that has made it possible.
While this year has been filled with heartache, disappointments, and set backs, it has also been filled with synchronicities, opportunities, and breakthroughs. It has been an incredible year for me personally. This year hasn’t all been rainbows and sunshine, as growth is sometimes painful. Breaking my ankle last Halloween was a set back that forced me to focus on myself. For one month, I was completely non weight bearing, leaving plenty of time to think and turn my attention inward. Fortuitously, a few weeks prior to breaking my ankle, I had signed up for a one year shadow work and personal growth training called Inner Forest, which I had ample time to devote towards mediation and inner work. While I was immobile, I also decided to work with a mentor to create my website and start my Yoga Nidra teaching on line. Then, in April, I started hypnotherapy school to become a certified hypnotherapist. In May, my dad suddenly died, adding new dimension to my personal growth adventure. Whew, it has been a whirl wind of study, learning new skills, and personal growth.
I am feeling exceptionally grateful right now. Grateful for all that has transpired, for without which, I would not be where I am right now. Grateful for the opportunity to focus on creating a life full of meaning and authenticity. Grateful for all of the support and love from family and friends. My husband Anthony, my rock, my number one fan who sticks by me no matter what, thank you. And last but not least, I am grateful for all of you. Whether you just read these silly newsletters or have taken a Yoga Nidra class, I am grateful for having had the opportunity be a part of your life, even for just a few minutes.
